What is the PNCE?

The National Export Culture Plan is a program of the Ministry of Economy, which seeks to disseminate the
exporting culture and contribute to increasing the number of Brazilian exporters.

What is the PNCE’s target audience?

The PNCE’s target audience is micro, small and medium-sized companies that want to become more
competitive and entering the international market, making its first export or expanding its
participation in the foreign market.

PNCE can help companies as it offers a logical and fluid path (Action Plan)
that they can follow, based on their own needs. In addition, when deciding to participate in the

PNCE, companies now have the support of a partner from the Plan to assist them in their
trajectories.
The action plan developed for a company participating in the PNCE is customized for it. Being
therefore, all recommendations (training, services and other solutions) contained therein must address
needs and fill in the gaps identified for that company. The company that follows the plan,
it takes it one step at a time, in a thoughtful, structured and orderly way towards internationalization.

What precautions and prerequisites should a company take before considering joining the PNCE?

The company must understand that the PNCE works as a means of support, a “path of stones” that has
the objective of guiding it in the most fluid and assertive way possible. However, the company has the
responsibility to execute the plan provided to him. It must be clear to her that the process will require
commitment and investment (be it time, effort or financial). The interest in internationalization
is very positive for the company, but it must be a strategic decision that is important for its
evolution and business development.

How does PNCE work, from the perspective of the company that adheres to the Plan?

The walkthrough is simple and can be described in 4 main steps:
a) Business Profile – the company accesses the PNCE website (www.pnce.economia.gov.br) and answers a
short questionnaire containing questions related to internationalization;
b) International Maturity Assessment – after filling in your Profile, the company receives
automatically (in your registered email) an assessment identifying the stage you are in
within the internationalization process;
c) Internationalization Action Plan – a PNCE partner contacts the company and it
receives a personalized plan with suggestions for actions to be taken to reach the market
International;
d) Business Monitoring – the company’s trajectory is followed to assist in reaching its customers.

Does the PNCE have costs? Which are?

There is no cost to join the PNCE, that is, the company that signs up must receive a maturity assessment and an action plan for internationalization, prepared based on the information provided by itself. However, it is important to note that this plan may contain indications of paid services. The PNCE Service Matrix consists of several solutions from various institutions – free, paid or subsidized. These solutions will be indicated as available alternatives that will help the company to take the necessary steps to reach the international market.
